My name is Angela Bozorth and I have been a substance abuse counselor here in the Central Florida area since 2001. I hold certifications from the Florida Certification Board including CAS (Certified Addiction Specialist-2004-2008) and CCJAP (Certified Criminal Justice Addiction Professional-2008-Present).

Over the past two decades I have worked with thousands individuals here on the Space Coast, both court-ordered and self-referred. I am committed to offering my clients the best in evidence-based treatment & trauma-informed care (including referrals to other providers if necessary) as well as recovery-focused assistance as they transition from in-patient rehabs, out-patient programs, detoxification/hospitals, MAT or self-referrals. My mission is to help each client help themselves as we work together to create a sober lifeplan in recovery, whatever, that looks like. I've also been a passionate advocate about about the importance of prevention education for teachers, counselors and other "professional helpers". INDIVIDUAL RECOVERY PLANS & SERVICES

CHANGES RECOVERY SERVICES is proud to be on the cutting-edge regarding quality programs and services offered to clients who have recently finished detox or inpatient rehab programs. We now offer professional Recovery Specialist/Sober Coaching services. Our Recovery Specialist/Sober Coach is trained in the McShin Recovery Coaching Method.

We work individually with each client in order to create an Individualized Recovery Plan that is tailor-made to his or her specific needs. Clients and their families are then able to concentrate on particular areas and we can also connect them to other services and together we help them develop appropriate lifeskills (mental & physical health, employment, educational, housing, legal, etc.). The result is that we are blessed to help clients build a rewarding life of sobriety and give them a better shot at avoiding RELAPSE after inpatient treatment/detox. This is when addicts are most vulnerable, especially Opioid-dependent clients, who are at a greater risk of succumbing to an overdose death; when they are newly out of an intensive inpatient setting or incarceration & when tolerance has been altered. This is why the services of a Recovery Specialist/Sober Coach are crucial in the ever-changing world of addiction treatment.

We also assist individuals and their families create an Individualized Intake Treatment Plan. I began to offer this service after a family shared their experience of their daughter finally being ready to go into treatment for her opioid addiction and being turned away from the facility due to a misunderstanding.
